Hey Loves!

Things look a little different over here but before I get into all of that, a special welcome (and thanks). Welcome and thank you to all of my peeps who I lovingly harassed to subscribe. Thank you for checking out my posts, your comments, encouragement, and support behind the scenes. I truly enjoy what I do and I appreciate you for all you do.

I started this blog almost 10 years ago 🤯 (mind-blown). It was both an escape from the real world and opportunity to share my love of writing and beauty. Looking back at my first post all those years ago, I had no clue what I was doing. Punctuation, syntax, and grammar- non existent (not much has changed). There were no flashy images, or aesthetically pleasing layout, just me, my laptop and my crazy ideas. Over the years, I lost focus, quite a few times. I got snatched back up into the real world and the blogosphere became very competitive. I tried too hard to ‘fit in’ with the bloggers, influencers and everyone else and lost sight of the fun side of this blogging community- something had to give.

So, here we are. A simple and fresh new look. Updated ‘Foxtoon’ (created by the amazing Victoria Fox @Foxtoons who did my original one all those years ago). And all posts beauty, fashion, lifestyle, and faith! Expect all the content you know and love from The Beauty Holder and a few new exciting elements. Simples! But wait, there is more…

Something has been on my mind for a while and I did say that I had an announcement to make. I know not everyone wants to/ has time to read my posts. There are some things I wanna talk about that I can’t really go into on the blog or it will be pages too long. So I am pleased to announce, after trying to talk myself out of it several times over, on the 10 year anniversary of ‘The Beauty Holder’, I will be starting a podcast 😳😳😳!

Yep, you read that right, I will be launching my first podcast, ‘TO BE HONEST…’, (see what I did there), it’s what I like to call a ‘blog-cast’ an extension of this blog with my unfiltered, unsolicited but realistic take on life. I will be sharing more in the coming weeks including the launch date (hint: March 2022) so please stay tuned, there may be trouble ahead. Nah, scrap that… there will be GROWTH ahead 🌱

This year we’re gonna be intentional about our dreams. Doubt has left the building and we coming in hot! Change is inevitable and that is something I am ready to embrace. Welcome back to ‘The Beauty Holder’, I think you’ll like it here ❤️
